FRCPath Part 2 Slide Workshop
This 3 day Slide Workshop allows trainees to view a wide collection of histopathology slides sets in preparation for the Part 2 FRCPath examination. Ideal preparation for FRCPath Part 2 candidates in the last few weeks before the exam. This is a self learning slide workshop with over 400 cases to review! The slide review includes Cytology and Surgical cases with Mock Exam sets.
Details:
• Trainees will be provided a microscope and slides sets with questions and answers.
• The microscopes are basic and trainees are encouraged to bring their own if they can.
• They will have 24 hour access to the venue from Friday 10 am until Sunday 5 pm.
• Trainees will be guided to local café’s and shops for food and beverages, but this will not be included in the price of the workshop.
Slide sets are all pitched at the FRCPath exam and include:
• Bone Pathology – 15 cases
• Head and Neck Pathology – 30 cases
• Breast Pathology – 20 cases
• Endocrine Pathology – 25 cases
• Gynae Cytology Exam Set - 12 cases
• Gynaecological Pathology – 30 cases
• Liver pathology – 27 cases (with special stains)
• Gastrointestinal Pathology – upper – 30 cases
• Gastrointestinal – Lower & Pancreatic Pathology – 30 cases
• Lympho-Reticular Pathology - 20 cases
• Mock Surgical Exam – 2 exam sets – 20 cases each
• Non Gynae Cytology Cytology Mock Examination - 12 cases
• Renal Pathology – 30 cases
• Respiratory and medistinal Pathology – 30 cases
• Skin – Inflammation – 30 cases
• Skin – Neoplasia – 30 cases
• Soft tissue Pathology – 30 cases
• Surgicals Frozen Sections – 5 cases
• Uropathology - 30 cases
