Dr Iskander Chaudhry
Consultant Dermatopathologist, Manchester Royal Infirmary
Dr Iskander Chaudhry is a consultant histopathologist working at Manchester Royal Infirmary and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Manchester University. He graduated from Manchester’s School of Medicine in 1996 and then embarked on a career in Pathology, training in the Mersey Deanery. In 2004 is was awarded a Fellowship at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology and trained as a dermatopathologist under Dr Eduardo Calonje and Dr Alistair Robson. In 2005, he received a visiting Fellowship to Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA for 3 months and trained under the supervision of Professor Martin Mihm Jr. Since his appointment as a Consultant Skin and Soft Tissue Pathologist at Manchester Royal Infirmary he has taken an active role in teaching and runs a national update course in dermatopathology, inviting renowned national and international speakers. |

Dr Olivia Espinosa
Consultant dermatopathologist, John Radcliffe Hospital
Dr Espinosa is a full-time dermatopathologist working at the John Radcliffe Hospital. She trained in Oxford and holds the Diploma in Dermatopathology of the Royal College of Pathologists. Dr Espinosa is actively involved in teaching contributing to the Oxford FRCPath part 2 course and Foundation course in dermatopathology aimed at dermatologists. |

Dr Victoria Swale BM MD FRCP ICDP
Consultant dermathologist and dermatopathologist, The Royal Free Hospital
Dr Swale trained in medicine at the University of Southampton, where she was awarded the 1991 Dermatology prize. She has trained at some of the leading Dermatology centres in London, including The Royal London Hospital, St John’s Institute of Dermatology at St Thomas’ Hospital, and The Royal Free Hospital. Dr Swale has been awarded an MD from the University of London for her work on clinical, pathological and molecular aspects of the skin in the context of skin cancer, melanocytic naevi and family cancer syndromes. She has presented her research nationally and internationally, and published in peer-reviewed international journals. Dr Swale started her consultant Dermatology post at the Royal Free Hospital in 2004, when she started the weekly Royal Free Dermatology clinicopathological conference. In 2005 Dr Swale achieved the International Certificate of Dermatopathology, and since 2006 she has combined work as a consultant in both the departments of Dermatology and Cellular Pathology. Dr Swale teaches at a weekly Dermatopathology meeting, as well as one-to-one teaching at the microscope. In addition to general Dermatology clinics, Dr Swale has a weekly rapid access skin cancer clinic and a regular dermatological surgery commitment. She carries out joint vulval clinics and vulval clinicopathological conferences with senior colleagues from the Department of Gynaecology. Dr Swale was lead for Dermatology teaching at the Royal Free and University College Medical School for 3 years. She has been a member of the Speciality Question Group for Dermatology of the Royal College of Physicians MRCP examination since 2005. Dr Swale has three daughters and enjoys classical music, walking and rock climbing.
